| Straits Orient Lines was awarded 5th place in Feeder Line Operators recorded volume in 2018 at the 2nd Port of Colombo Awards held at the Shangri-La Hotel on 30th of August 2019 held by SLPA in collaboration with JCT, SAGT and CICT. This was the second consecutive year we have won this award. This was held under the distinguished patronage of Hon. Sagala Ratnayaka, Minister of Ports & Shipping and Southern Development. Transworld Group, Singapore has taken delivery of our new container vessel which is named M.V.SOL BANGLADESH on Thursday, 3rd April at 1737 hours (Singapore time) at Singapore. We are in our 15th year of business since our humble beginnings with a service to Bangladesh; to commemorate this occasion; we wish to name and dedicate this vessel to the nation.
We are pleased to launch Straits Vietnam Service from December 2013 with one vessel every fortnight. |
